If you remove 2 screws, lens can be detached.
Attached sample video is taken from the lens. Focus is very thin at f1.4 and hence you see the object clearly only when it comes in frame. Out of area rendering is excellent both foreground and background. Lens has extreme contrast even at f1.4. Photo taken from the lens of the same object.

Aperture works well.
