Here's a rarity from the late 1970s -- a self-published, unauthorized fanzine, devoted to WALT DISNEY in general, and MICKEY MOUSE in particular.  This brief, short-lived 'zine featured b&w photos of classic DISNEY toys, books and other DISNEYANA, plus interviews with other collectors of DISNEYANA, plus advertisements and a letters column.  However, it apparently did not last a full year -- issue #7 features condensed comments from the legal department at the WALT DISNEY CORPORATION, suggesting that the contents of MICKEY'S MONTHLY poses trademark violations with WDC, and hints that future publications would be found vigorously disagreeable.  So check out what all the fuss was about; and decide for yourself:

Yoo-Hoo!. . .

Mickey and Minnie Acrobats Toy -- GEORGE BORGFELDT CORP.

SILLY SYMPHONY BOOK TO COLOR -- WHITMAN PUBLISHING CO.

Collecting CARL BARKS -- "The Good Duck Artist" -- Interview With JOHN NICHOLS, publisher of "THE BARKS COLLECTOR"

Letters To The Editor (all fake, but moderately humorous)
