STOIC SCENT IS DESIGNED TO BE APPLIED TO THE ACCOMPANYING CERAMIC BEADS AND PLACED AROUND THE HOUSE, POPPED INTO LUGGAGE OR WORN AS A BRACELET. THE KIT FEATURES A PIPETTE FOR EASY DISPENSING.

THE POROUS CERAMIC BEADS ENABLE MAXIMUM PERFUME LONGEVITY AND WILL DIFFUSE GENTLY IN THE AIR. THE EAU DE TOILETTE CAN ALSO BE APPLIED DIRECTLY TO THE SKIN.

Rick Owens has officially released his collaboration with Aesop, which was teased earlier this month. When he initially unveiled the project, Owens paid tribute to Aesop’s “quiet blend of aesthetic beauty, hygienic beauty and moral beauty,” as well as his and Aesop’s shared “desire to be an option for those pursuing a gentle carefully considered life.”

The collaboration spans a range of Aesop’s signature products, including candles and a travel kit — packed with four of Owen’s favorite products — as well as introducing an all-new fragrance. The travel kit features Aesop’s Coriander Seed Body Cleanser, Resolute Hydrating Body Balm, Classic Shampoo and Classic Conditioner.

Additionally, the collection debuts the brand new Stoic Eau de Toilette, which has been created by perfumer Barnabé Fillion — who also created the fragrance for Owens’ most recent show. Stoic mixes notes of Black Pepper and Coriander, as well as Frankincense, Patchouli and woody notes. The fragrance releases with a string of 10 porous ceramic beads, which can be used with Stoic for longevity of scent.

Launching the collection, Owens said:

“I am not sure if it was my body responding positively to the alchemy of the unguents they produce or my head responding to the quiet and gentle aesthetics of their ethos as a company, but Aesop’s balms represented a soothing mood that I wanted to continue seamlessly throughout my home life and my travel life.”
