The listing is for a single newly-made table lamp using a recycled Stentor student 1/4 quarter sized violin.

The stem is made from soldered 15mm copper pipe and fittings, fitted into a cast iron flange foot, is sprayed in black, and has a chromed bulb holder. All this is mounted to an oiled solid oak base.

All the electrical and other fittings are new (as shown by the plug paper cover). I have fitted a 3A fuse for correct use. The cable is black, approximately 1.7m long and has an inline switch about 50cm from the base.

For the above reasons each item is earth continuity tested.

The total height is about 56cm to top of the Edison Screw cap bulb holder. The base is 19.2cm x 15.4cm x 4cm.

I only buy good quality instruments to make these lamps (and you can see how much these are on ebay) as well as new and high quality electrical components. Hopefully all of this will partly explain the listing price.

The Edison vintage bulb bulb is included but will come separately since some couriers will not carry or insure glass and would invalidate the policy for the whole item.

Packaging will need to be substantial and sturdy, hence the postage cost, which includes sufficient insurance.

I have made other lamps too, all listed.

Ebay payment only please as we give a percentage of our sales to charity and we can process that straight out of your payment.

Postage costs include all wrapping materials as well as the postage or courier cost and I try to keep them as minimal as possible without compromising the security or safety of the package. This includes extra insurance cover in this case. You are, of course, welcome to collect for free from my home at PO8 9AW.

Since shipping is with extra insurance the carrier will require a signature and will not leave it in a "safe place".

I have tried to be totally accurate in the descriptions, including any blemishes there may be. In the unlikely event that you have a complaint, please contact me first so we can try to resolve the issue rather than simply leaving negative feedback.

I always obtain proof of posting. In the unlikely event of item not being received I will offer a full refund, but only once any dispute with the courier is concluded.

Thanks.

Please check out my 100% feedback and other items.
