ich vermute mal, laut recherche, dass das Polster vom Buchdeckel ( Siehe Photo 2 ),
aus Hadernpapier besteht, es fühlt jedenfalls wie Papier an,

ganz spezifisch aus Baumwoll-Alttextilien,
einst war es so üblich 100 % Hadernpapier herzustellen,
erstmalige Herstellung dieser Papierqualität war im Jahre 1893

einige Seiten sind auf Reispapier und Papyrus,

die Buchdeckel sind mehrlagig mit Hadernpapier gefüllt und rotem,
zartem Stoff ( ? ) bezogen, leider altersbedingt beschädigt,

das Innenleben des Buches ist sauber,ohne Beschädigungen,

diese Auflage ist auf 950 Exemplare limitiert,
dieses hat die Nummer " 342 " und hat Seiten 63

das Buch hat auch Kopf-/Goldschnitt

der glänzende Goldschnitt ist eine Schnittverzierung,
die seit Jahrhunderten zum Einsatz kommt,
er schützt vor einer Verschmutzung und Vergilbung,
die Kantenveredelung als Einzelanfertigungen mit Blattgold
kam überwiegend an ganz hochwertigen Büchern zum Einsatz,
 
das Buch ist ein Erbstück von Opa,
war in den 1970iger Jahren viel in Amerika,
ich kann damit leider nichts anfangen,
darum verkaufe ich dieses museale Stück,

so wie es scheint, gibt es dieses Buch nur org. im Philadelphia Museum of Art,

vielleicht kann mir ja jemand von Euch noch Info´s geben ,
würde mich sehr darüber freuen,

finde dieses rare Buch gehört in eine Sammlung für jeden Liebhaber der asiatischen Kunst,

I guess times, according to recherche, that the upholstery of the book cover (see photo 2)

consists of Hadernpaper,
it feels like paper anyway,
specifically made of old cotton textiles,

once 100%  Handernpapier was common,
first production of this paper quality in 1893

some pages are on ricepaper and papyrus,

the book covers are multilayer filled with Hadernpaper

and covered with red soft fabric (?),

unfortunately damaged due to age,

the inside of the book is clean, without damage,

This edition is limited to 950 copies,

this copy has the number “ 342 “

and has pages 63

the book also has a head - / goldcut

the shiny gold print is a cut decoration that has been used for centuries,
it protects against pollution and yellowing,
edge finishing as individual productions with gold leaf
was mainly used on high-quality books,

the book is an heirloom of grandpa, was in the 1970s a lot in America,
I can’t do anything with it, so I’m selling this museum piece,
