This is a limited, lithographically printed, production run of a Japanese woodcut print (Ukiyo-e).

They are not Ink jets or Laser prints that are very popular at the moment.

The number of colours and the near perfect registration shows the true skills of the artists,

who produced these woodcuts.

Noh plays / dramas are the oldest forms of Japanese theatre, dating from the middle of

the 14th century and this print is one of eleven that is available. 

They usually depicted five themes / categories: God, Warrior, Women, Deranged and Demons.

The finished size of this print is 310mm x 500.
