Vintage c 1940s-50s women's tailored swimsuit with wraparound skirt and bow accent. Bright pink and yellow floral printed cotton without stretch. Elastic in leg holes is still stretchy. Flexible boning at front of bust and also on back. Shoulder straps can be either tied behind the neck or buttoned into the back. No tags. Overall
very good condition. No strong or unpleasant odors. Zipper works perfectly. Light fading to the outside of the fabric. A bit of straining to front seams of bust. Some light foxing (brown age spots) to panty lining, and a few other tiny stains here and there. Approximate measurements (taken with swimsuit laid
flat):
- Bust, at underarms: 15"
- Waist at narrowest point: 11 1/2"
- Hips at widest point: 18 1/2"
- Length of suit from top of bust to crotch: 24 1/2"
