For sale is a Playbill for the 2017 Broadway production of George Orwell's masterpiece of dystopian fiction, "1984," as adapted for the stage by Robert Icke and Duncan MacMillan. The show opened at the Hudson Theatre on June 22, 2017, and played for 125 performances. It starred Tom Sturridge (Winston), Olivia Wilde (Julia), and Reed Birney (O'Brien).  The reviews were mixed (at best) and the show had long been closed and forgotten about when the 2018 Tony Award ceremony rolled around. "1984" received only a single Tony nomination for Best Sound Design (and it did not win). The Playbill is unused and in excellent condition.
