An interesting and historical plate, commemorating the 6 states of the Australian Commonwealth.
The underside is marked: "Duraline" Grafton China. Made in England. Gibsons & Paterson Pty Ltd Aust. & NZ 1959.
It is interesting to see how each state is represented - Tasmania has the iconic Tasmanian Tiger.
It is in great condition, with it's gold rim and the red areas slightly raised with thick looking paint, albeit not overly done.
It is 8in in diameter.
