These armrests attach using very thin clear rubbery tape which holds very well and can also be removed easily with no residue left behind. These are easy to install, can be removed if needed, but once you play with one installed, I doubt you'll ever remove it. These armrests are smooth and polished for comfort as well as aesthetics. It not only protects the finish from harmful sweat and ware from the movement of your arm, but it also creates a more comfortable rest compared to a typical sharp right-angle edge.
What Does It Do? - This armrest should also improve sound quality. A simple test will show what we mean. Place your guitar on your lap face up and strum it once. Now place a few fingers on the top and listen carefully, you will hear a dampening of the tone and a bit of the projection. This is because the top is the ?soundboard,? the more it resonates, the better the tone, volume, and projection. Imagine how this must sounds when your forearm is resting on the top while playing, dampening such a large area of the top. Testing shows, with a resting arm, you lose between 15% and 20% of the power and projection!
Installation & Removal Notes- These can be removed easily by gently pulling up and twisting away from the top.
