Bob Byerley (1941- ): at the age of thirty Byerley quit teaching and began painting full time. He painted still lives rendered in a very detailed, trump l'oeil "trick of eye" realistic style. Byerley began to paint children in the late 1980s and found success with them as the center of interest in his work.
