HMS Princess Royal was a British battlecruiser that served during World War I. Commissioned in 1913, she was the lead ship of her class and was considered one of the most powerful warships of her time. In 1916, she played a prominent role in the Battle of Jutland, where she engaged in a fierce duel with the German battlecruiser Lützow.

Despite sustaining heavy damage during the battle, HMS Princess Royal managed to return to port and was subsequently repaired. She continued to serve in the Royal Navy until 1922, when she was decommissioned and eventually scrapped. Today, she is remembered as one of the key vessels of the First World War and a testament to the power and ingenuity of naval technology of the time.
