It is the great oil for skin care . A lovely oil for women .Pure rose oil is very expensive . Huge amount of rose petals are required to extract tiny amounts of essential oil . That is why it is very expensive . It's demand in the perfume industry exceeds it's supply Synthetic rose oil is also sold in the market . These synthetic oils should never be used in aroma therapy . Main compositions Mainly citronellol wich is terpene alcohol and 50 % paraffin wax . It contains so many components some of which are not yet identified . It's fragrance can't be fully reproduced by putting the components longer yet .

 

Uses of this oil

 

It is women's oil . It is often used to help women overcome problems with the female reproduction system , menstrual  and menopausal problems . It is said t tone the womb . It is an aphrodisiac . A word of warming though Rose oil should not be used in pregnant women in the first 5 months of pregnancy . It should not be used in pregnant women at all of they have any risk of miscarriage . Rose oil may cause miscarriage in pregnant women . Rose oil has anti - depressant qualities . It may be used as a massage oil to relax a person , to relieve stress and to help overcome depression . To use for baby massage a dilution of 1 drop of rose oil to 1 teaspoon of cold parsed . It is a good oil for skin care . It is appropriate for all skin types but is especially beneficial for mature skin . To make your own facial massage oil add 1 drop of rose oil to 1 tablespoon of cold pressed safflower oil and pour into a small glass bottle . Use as required for an uxorious facial massage . Keep the bottle away from light as light candies essential oil to deteriorate .

 

Note :

Before using the oil , do a patch test . Apply a little of the oil on the inside of your wrist .If the skin does not react to the oil , then you may use a little on your face . Be very careful when using essential oil on your face as some skin react badly to essential oils . then it is better to use rose oil in a facial steam instead of as a massage oil If in doubt  , never use an oil on your face . Also if you have acne prone skin  ,. For facial steaming  ,fill a porcelain bowl very hot water . Add 1 drop of rose essential oil to it . Place your face about 10 to 20 cm away from bowl . Use towel to form a tent over your head and the bowl , to keep the steam in as facial sauna .

To property care your skin , you can also add 1 drop of rose oil to your face cream and mix well .

Rose water does contain minute amount of rose essential . Rose water may be used as atoner and for cleaning the face . It has antibacterial affect . It may be also mixed almond float to form a facial scrub .
