In this book Bernard Leach has not only carried out a valuable piece of research and reconstruction, but also with the aid of translations of diaries and poems, transports the reader back into another age and culture with an intimate sense of discovery.He brings to life four of the greatest Japanese artists of 250-350 years age ... This first edition was published in 1966 by FABER AND FABER, London. Illustrated throughout with colour and b/w plates - 96 bl/w plates + 12 colour plates 

Bound in olive green linen boards. Japanese title to the front board, gilt title lettering on black block on the spine. This book has its original dust jacket - this is a little rubbed along the edges, with a small tear on the top back edge, price is intact, it is in very good condition.The book - only light shelf wear evident, some spotting on the fore-edges but the pages are clean and bright.  No inscriptions. This book is in very good condition, tightly bound with no loose or missing pages 173pp; 26 cm x 21cm.

Postage and packing : I know that you will be looking forward to receiving your order, each book is carefully wrapped in packing paper ( I have changed from bubble wrap to try and reduce my use of plastic) and posted in a Jiffy bag if size permitting, if not it is double wrapped in corrugated cardboard, brown paper and then securely taped. 

To keep the cost of the postage down to the most economical level per book, you may consider buying more than 1 item from my eBay account. You can then request a combined postage cost and I will combine the items into the fewest parcels as possible - saving you money :)
