Beautiful set of 2 Victorian Oak or Elm Dining chairs with carved details in the backrest and Green padded Velour (velvet) upholstery on both the seat and the backrest. The base of the seat is covered with hessian, which unfortunately is covering where the makers mark would be but looking at the quality of chairs, I'd be surprised if there wasn't one there if you were to remove the hessian. They are in very good condition as they have been well looked after, they have the usual marks you would expect to see on furniture of this age. There is a small amount of old woodworm which we treated as a precaution before storing with our other wood items. Would look great in any room or could be used as props for a period play, tv show or film.
