This is an exceptional vintage modernist brooch/pendant and clip earrings from the David-Andersen Norway workshop with Uni Tangerud. It is part of the Bjorn Sigurd Ostern Troll Series from the early 1960's. The pendant/brooch and earrings each feature a cabochon of Norwegian thulite, the national gemstone of Norway.
The pendant measures 2" in diameter with a center cabochon of thulite. The center back is stamped: UNI D-A / 925S Sterling / Norway/ INV. UT. It has a loop to wear as a pendant, and pin to wear as a brooch.
The clip style earrings measure 3/4" with a center cabochon of thulite. The back of each earring is stamped: UNI /D-A 925S / U.T.
Condition: The pendant is in excellent condition. The stone is intact and securely attached. The pin has a very light bend to it, as seen in the photo. The locking mechanism is fully functional and moves freely. The loop is intact. There are no signs of damage or repair. The earrings are in excellent condition. The stones are intact and securely attached. The clips move freely and are fully functional. There are no signs of damage or repair.
