Original WW1 "SECRET" British War Office map of "RAFA" from the SINAI and PALESTINE CAMPAIGN which features an "ARTILLERY GRID", a "FIVE FATHOM LINE" along the coastline for small naval craft, and areas of 'described terrain' which, in later years, would be termed 'GOINGS INFORMATION' for land vehicles. There is also information for ground troops such as the locations of walled compounds, subterranean cisterns, water wells etc.

Published in May 1917, not long after the "Battle of RAFA" which took place in January 1917.
