A hassle-free exact fit every time.Cateran catalytic converters contain OEM-grade catalyst solutions supplied by Umicore Autocat, the world's leading developer and supplier of automotive catalyst and are tested on worst-case scenario vehicles to ensure that they reduce harmful exhaust gasses, exceed US Federal EPA emission requirements, are OBDII-compliant and keep the engine check lamp (MIL) off.The use of OEM-grade materials and unique construction method makes Cateran catalytic converters a leader in aftermarket catalytic converter durability and longevity. Cateran converter assemblies are designed and manufactured to match the original design. Inlet and outlet flanges, mounting brackets and sensor ports all line up with the original design and include heat shields or brackets to reuse the original heat shields. Every Cateran converter assembly is pressure tested for leaks. Even small leaks preceding the converter may generate noise and result in incorrect signals received by the ECU from the oxygen sensors.Cateran catalytic converters undergo strict quality controls for all critical attributes. 100% of completed assemblies are checked for flange flatness, oxygen sensor nut sealing surface and thread integrity, fitment correctness, completeness of construction and weld appearance and cleanliness.
