• Jidai date: looks Koto Period of Pre-1596 based on some features of the blade
• Superb & rare Koshirae mountings: Fitting is designed as a weapon itself with iron made Tsuka-Ito braid wrapped grip and Saya scabbard (the bottom part).  The Saya is also wrapped by ray skin, which is beautifully lacquered.

Condition: 

The blade is in good condition with some minor flaws and scratches, which are not fatal.  Koshirae mountings are in good condition with normal wears seen in items of this age.  One of three Seppa washers is made of wood to better fit Tsuba guard.  Sold as-is.

Notes:

● An ordered sword will be shipped out after its exportation is permitted by Japanese government.  The process usually takes a few weeks.

● We use EMS of Japan Post for shipping, which is expedited method and comes with insurance and tracking services (note: Tracking service is not provided for some areas if the local post office in your area does not provide the service.).

● Please note that the above information is based on Japan Post’s service, which we are using, and some countries are defined differently from eBay’s system.  Some examples include Russia and Israel, both of which are included in Asia in the eBay’s shipping calculation but are classified differently in the above information.  In such cases, the above information supersedes the eBay’s shipping calculation.

● We will let you know the tracking number via email right after the item is shipped out.

● We will ONLY ship to the (confirmed) address specified in ebay for this order.

● We don't hold a purchased item; however, will hold it until the EMS is resumed when any shipping method is unavailable due to the pandemic.

● We don't ship multiple swords combined for safety reasons.
