CATHKIN PARK FOOTBALL GROUND, GLASGOW.
Nowhere is the game Of football more enthusiastically cultivated than in Glasgow, which is the home of such renowned clubs as the Queen's Park, the Rangers, the Celtic, the Hibernians, and the Third Lanark. The photograph represents a match between two of these clubs, the Celtic and the Rangers, at an exciting moment, when the faculties of the players are at a high point of tension. The Cathkin Park Football Ground, by the way, must not be confused with the Cathkin Park presented to th city by Mr. James Dick, which is some distance from the Football Ground.
