Stunning 1910 arts and crafts reclining oak framed chair with original upholstery.

The chair has a wonderful patina to the oak whilst the seat is internally sprung ( as can be seen from below)……incredibly comfortable. The chair reclines easily by pushing against the back so it glides into position, great for snoozing.

The condition of the chair is as shown.

The runners are a little worn due to age but work very well.

The upholstery is original yet still in in incredibly good condition considering it is over 100years old. The colours are still bright. ( obviously the cloth does not comply to modern fire standards but was produced prior to 1950). The under canvas is exposed as shows the springs etc….this does not affect the chair use or look.

A very rare and good example.

Non smoking house and stored in dark and dry conditions.

The chair is shown as collection only which could be personal or by courier. I am happy to prepare the chair for collection by courier however any damage caused by your courier would obviously be at your own risk. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Please note that I only use EBay global Shipping on international glass and ceramics purchases due to the extra protection this gives the buyer. If you are unsure please do not bid before contacting me.

I have collected many items over the years and it is now time to let some go as well as finally have room in an overflowing loft.

I have tried to give an give a fair appraisal of the items but please remember that I am going by my own standards. In other words if I say good condition then in my opinion the condition is such that I would be happy to buy it myself at the price given. Everybody has different points of view and I am no expert on condition types so please contact me if you have any questions.... I would rather you were happy before buying.

I will try and describe the item but I would like to state that the photographs are an important part of my selling...so please study them carefully. If you are are uncertain of anything please contact me and ask.

I have looked up the costs of all the items and tried to keep the starting price fair in order to allow market forces to dictate. If you get a bargain then good as we will both win.
