Smiths Mk5A Aircraft 8 Day Elapsed Time Pilot Cockpit Clock

This clock was recovered from an unknown aircraft and retrieved from UKMoD stores as surplus to requirements. It was released as "Repairable" and must not be installed or used before having been inspected, repaired and appropriately certified as being fit for purpose by a suitable accredited authority, body or agency.  

It is clean and tidy cosmetically but may require overhaul/service. They glass is clear and clean. The winding & start/stop/reset buttons work correctly and the second hands reset to zero. The inner mechanisms look clean and undamaged.

This clock has been in service with the RAF for many years and they have been fitted to different aircraft variants.

Ideal for re-use subject to overhaul/repair as may be required, static display, museum, movie prop or as a collectible.
