On March 11, 2023 at approximately 10:50 am, multiple eyewitnesses from Algeria and Mauritania reported seeing a daytime fireball and sonic boom!!!

Many meteorite hunters and locals began searching for this right after it fell and found around 10-15 kilos of all different size stones, most are covered in fresh fusion crust and with lots of unique metals, some have blue fusion crust. The stones recovered range in size from 2 kilo to sub-gram with hundreds of pieces recovered so far!!! I have personally acquired about 7 kilos with many different sizes available.

This meteorite is one of the newest visitors to Earth, and the freshest meteorite now, with zero weathering and landing in Algeria sand dunes which is one of the driest regions on Earth.

Side Note: This is a new fall from Algeria on March 11, 2023. In order to have a new fall accepted by the nom com takes lots of witnesses and information. This is difficult when it comes to falls in Northwest Africa and other remote regions because there is no radar data and usually no cameras. This means we need lots of eyewitnesses with exact information regarding the fireball coordinates, it's angle of entry and direction, and location of finds. I am working very hard to get all this information and get it approved.
