Available for immediate purchase is this lovely, late 1960s vintage, new in box (some shelf wear/aging to the box) internally sealed, guaranteed authentic, made in France, Tigress cologne extraordinaire (a less concentrated version of parfum extraordinaire) splash in a convenient 1-ounce (30ml) size by Fabergé Inc. All photos were taken at 40x magnification to best highlight overall item condition. The buyer will receive the exact item pictured.

Launched in 1938, Tigress was originally created to scent furs. In 1965, Tigress was reformulated and relaunched as an oriental aldehyde scent (with flat fake fur cap) and featured notes of bergamot, lavender, geranium, carnation, ylang ylang, jasmine absolute, bois de rose, vanilla, vetiver, sandalwood, and musk. During the 1980s, Tigress was reformulated as more of a spicy oriental scent (gold-tone cap, no fake fur). The 1996 Pavion Cosmetics, Ltd. (Wet’n Wild line) reformulation features notes of aldehyde, citrus, floral, oak moss, vanilla, and amber. Pavion sold out to AM Cosmetics for $110M in 2001. There also are more recent, highly reformulated Tigress versions made by The Vermont Country Store and Fragrances of France.
