Pin set pocket watch as issued

to the wagr between 1890 to 1914.

Railway watches had a hard working life

and were required to be returned to

the workshops for reissue or stripped for parts. Few have survived.

This example # 1349 is in amazingly

good condition considering age and history. 

The only fault is the dial

repair at the 5 position.

This is from a retired watchmakers

private collection.

VG working condition and keeping time.

Dial – enameled white face offset seconds.

Note dial repair otherwise unmarked.

Case -Nickel plated 3 piece with dust cover.

No damage with only light signs of wear.

Crystal – GC. light pitting to surface

Size – 50mm. 66mm with crown.
