Egill Jacobsen monograph, by Christian Dotremont, 1963.

Signed and inscribed by Jacobsen on the first blank to Leon Arkus, the director of the Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh, in the 1970s. He put on a number of shows for Jacobsen's contemporaries like Pedersen, Alechinsky and Ting in Pittsburgh, and was an important figure in introducing the CoBrA movement to an American audience.

First edition. Hardcover. Illustrated in color and black and white. Text in Danish and French. Published by Munksgaard as number 4 in their Danske Nutidskunstnere series of monographs.

Near Fine in a Very Good dust jacket, in a cardboard slipcase. A bright, tight, clean and unmarked copy. The DJ is sunned and lightly soiled and faded along the spine. Slipcase is sturdy and clean, lightly faded.

An excellent association copy. Books signed by Jacobsen are rare.
