THIS IS A NEW PILE CAP 
The MILITARY "Pile Cap" features a green woodland camouflage BDU pattern on the outside & features an adjustable hook and loop closure at the bottom which covers the mouth & neck region & a small bill (forehead flap) at the top. As well, the inside top of the cap fitted with 2 label tags with the first reading "Cap, Cold Weather, Insulating, Helmet Liner" 

There are many Pile Caps for sale on Ebay .. some are made in China and some are third party makers from Korea, they fall apart after a couple of washes. Mine are Original Military Surplus made in USA USGI.
