This exquisite vintage covered candy comport is an original L.E. Smith creation with the iconic moon and stars pattern. The round-shaped glass piece comes in an attractive amethyst purple color and stands at a height of 10 inches with a diameter of 6.25 inches.

This mid-century modern piece was produced using the pressed glass technique and fused glass production style. The product line is L.E. Smith, and the vintage item is an American-themed creation that was manufactured between 1960-1969 in the United States. The backstamp is not present, and the finish is glossy. This candy comport is perfect for collectors and enthusiasts who appreciate unique antique pieces. This is in excellent used condition, it has no chips or cracks. There is a total of 6 seams at the bottom( pictures 14,15,16) . Picture 18 is where the extra seams end under the bowl. 5 of them goes all the way to the bottom one ends at the level of a star and is connected to one of the other seams.
