ZKG HIGH PERFORMANCE Rotary Engine Racing copper gaskets.

16 GAUGE/1.75MM CDA 110 HIGH GRADE COPPER. MADE IN U.S.A.

THESE COPPER RACING GASKETS ARE TO BE TREATED WITH FUEL RESISTANT GASKET SEALER BEFORE EACH USE.  (THREE BOND #1184 GRAY) OR EQUIVALENT SEALANT, APPLY AN 1/8” CONTINUOUS BEAD AROUND ALL PORT OPENINGS ON BOTH SIDES OF GASKET, DO NOT OVER APPLY SEALANT.  ALLOW SEALANT TO DRY FOR A MINIMUM OF 3 HR BEFORE INSTALLATION (RECOMMENDED OVER NIGHT DRY TIME UNTIL SEALANT IS 100% DRY). MAKE SURE MATING SURFACES ARE CLEAN, FLAT AND SMOOTH FOR MAXIMUM SEALING. TORQUE DOWN TO STANDARD TORQUE SPECS. 

MATCH PORT THE COPPER GASKETS TO SUIT YOUR APPLICATIONS IF NECESSARY. 

*THESE COPPER GASKET WILL SEAL MOST STANDARD APPLICATION SURFACES, THEY ARE NOT A 'FIX ALL' TO DAMAGED AND UNEVEN SURFACES.

WHY USE COPPER GASKETS?...

Because of its durability... copper gaskets are commonly used on high performance street/strip engines. Copper provides great resistance to blowouts and heat, it naturally conducts and distributes the heat evenly, which minimizes warping and allows for a strong seal even on rough surfaces. Copper is stronger than any composite gasket yet still malleable so it conforms to the sealing surfaces. When used correctly, copper gaskets often outlasts the life of most performance engines... REUSABLE.
