    This brand new, old stock RS-11 diesel was made in 2001 by Lionel Electric Trains and represents the Southern Pacific Railroad.  It comes complete with a manufacturers' original storage box that is in very good condition.  The storage box has a Styrofoam insert to protect the diesel in transit and when not in use.  This diesel has ZERO track time and I have taken it out of its original storage box for photo purposes only.  There are no scratches, scrapes or ribs anywhere on this diesel.  Also included is a manufacturers' original owner's manual.

    The life and performance of this diesel locomotive depends, to a considerable extent, upon proper care and lubrication of the motor, trucks and other moving parts.  As with all new and used locomotives, I do recommend a thorough cleaning and lubrication periodically and before initial use.  A small amount of oil and lubricant, properly applied, goes a long way towards long life and great performance.
