Libbey Circus Carousel Frosted Tumbler Iced Tea Glass Vintage 1950s Blue Tiger Misprint. The pattern name for these glasses from the manufacturer was Merry-Go-Round, and they were sold during the 1950's when the pastel colors and circus theme was a popular motif. The glass measures 7" tall and has a diameter of 2-3/8".
Glass is being listed as a misprint as the black on the glass is printed off-register. If you look at the tiger closer to the top of the glass, his claws, eye, nose, and ear detail in black are all too far to the left along with the black pennants at the bottom. On the tiger closest to the bottom of the glass on the other side, those same details are also too far to the left, although by not quite as wide a margin all throughout the piece. Please examine photos carefully as they are off the item you will receive.
In excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or other major defects. Glass does have a few small black marks. Please see photos for details.
