All Vuarnet lenses are made from the finest glass or polycarbonate for the PC lenses, ground and polished on both sides to ensure distortion free vision, and are heat tempered for impact and scratch resistance.



IN THE MID 2000S, VUARNET LAUNCHED 2 NEW LENSES:

Pc 2000 and Pc 3000, which are the polycarbonate version of the Px 2000 and Px 3000.

They add a polarized treatment and provide light weight sunglasses.

Lenses were mainly made in Japan and are very high quality.

They were not V engraved but Polarized engraved, to make a difference with glass mineral lenses.

TINTED LENSES

Vuarnet is the only manufacturer in France to polish “in-mass” tinted lenses which give more stable color performance than lenses with surface tinting only.

Special features: 

*Anti-glare treatment: a special coating is applied to the inner face of the lens to eliminate irritating glare from reflected light.

*Hydrophobic treatment: Both sides of the lens are treated with a hydrophobic layer which repels water, so rain or sea spray literally slide off the surface making them easier to clean in everyday situation and helping ensure clear vision while doing watersports.

*Oleophobic treatment: thanks to this, Vuarnet lenses repel dirt, grease and oily smears making it much easier to clean fingerprints and smudges.
