This is an Antique Chinese necklace. It is crafted from sterling silver with two carnelian beads. The top of the drop is a sculpture with the double sided bat and carnelian beads. The bat suspends the sliding urn. The urn is also double sided with a different design each side. The urn further suspends the two bells at the bottom of the necklace. A lovely little tinker sound comes from this bottom portion. The upper portion is a fancy daisy link singular chain. The daisy chain is the attached to the neck chain. Some one must have loved the additional bauble of a butterfly that was attached. This necklace is a lengthy one spanning 21.5 inches. The drop alone is 9.5 inches. This necklace is not hallmarked but tests at about 925 sterling. The ensemble is presented in very good condition with minor wear and a rich patina.
