This wedding dress came from the estate of the original owner and is dated from 1921. I will include the note from the family on how the dress was constructed - see photo.

A magnificent wedding gown made of a off-white silk/crepe material with cream white fringe tiered on the skirt and at the cuffs of the long sleeves. The wedding dress closes with snaps on the front panel. The skirt has a (still stretchy) elastic band at the drop waist. The fabric is durable and the dress is wearable. This is a vintage garment so it should still be handled with care.

The dress closes with several snaps on the inside and outside as well as the lace collar bit.

Measurements:

Dress:

Shoulder: 15"

Drop Waist: 38"-40"

Length: 44"

Sleeve: 14"

Attached slip/underdress waist:

In the photo, the inside waistband was not attached due to the smaller size. You could easily remove the inside waist band/slip if needed. I would recommend taking it to a seamstress if you need to alter.
