An superb small round coaster or tray swith a  superb central niello design featuring scrolls and a cross-hatch style centrtal design. This could also be used for other small items such as rings, earrings or pen nibs.

There is a raised edge around the outside of this dish, and the metal seems reasonably heavy for the item's size.

The item appears to be in very good condition for this age with some light tarnish throughout and the remains of an old label on the reverse.

There are marks on the reverse indicating "84" grade silver content, along with two other markings in a Arabic style script.

The item measures about 2.75 inches (7 cm) in length measured across the widest part, 1.9 inches (4.9 cm) in depth and about 0.3 inches (1.5 cm) in height. The weight about 84 g.
