The Bianchi Specialties Tire Cleaning Block is designed to clean the rear tires of 1/24th scale slotcars. The battery-powered contacts connect to your car's pickups to spin the rear tires on a patch of microfiber cloth. Wet the microfiber cleaning cloth with your favorite tire cleaning fluid.
Clean your tires before a race, between heats, or even during a race to maximize their grip. Especially useful if your car has gone off track where your tires picked up dust.
The Bianchi Specialties Tire Cleaning Block includes an integral clip-eye. You can hang it from a lanyard or use a carabiner to attach it to a belt loop so you have it immediately to hand. Keep a bottle of your tire cleaning fluid in a pocket so you can clean your tires in seconds.
Pull out the black insulator to expose the power contacts. Dampen the microfiber cloth with a tire-cleaning fluid. Place the car with the guide in the slot. As soon as car makes contact the rear wheels will spin. Run the rear wheels on the damp cloth until clean. Wipe the rear tires on an unwetted section of the cloth to dry them. Replace the cloth when dirty.
Four alkaline 9-volt batteries comes installed so the block is ready-to-run. The batteries are wired in parallel to provide the amps needed for 1/24th scale slotcars. The block comes with one patch of microfiber cloth installed and a pack of six spare patches packaged separately. Velcro holds the patch in place so patches are easily removed and replaced. Spare patches can be made by cutting 4 x 4 inch (102 x 102 millimeter) squares out of a microfiber towel.
