Description:

• A 3-layer seam tape consisting of a multi-layer hot melt adhesive, membrane and tricot fabric layer. The low viscosity and strength of the adhesive exhibits excellent adhesion to multi-layered fabrics, for example a 3-layer waterproof cloth with a microporous PU membrane or non-porous hydrophilic polyester membrane. Widely used for technical skiwear, rainwear, army wear or workwear.

Application Instructions:

For the repair of a seam or patching of a hole, position seam tape accordingly and overlay with a cloth or ideally grease proof paper.  Apply a medium to medium hot iron for between 5 and 10 seconds applying an even pressure until a seal is produced.  To check, leave a tab of un-sealed tape at the end and once the sealed tape has cooled, gently pull ensuring that resistance is felt by adhesion to the fabric.
