HERE WE HAVE: A vintage steering wheel clock for a 1950s Chrysler! From what I've seen online, Chrysler featured steering wheel clocks from 1954 through 1958, and 1953 could be retrofitted.

This is a Benrus, Swiss made, 15 jewel clock. It is supposed to automatically wind itself as the steering wheel spins or you can manually wind it by spinning the bezel (this is what I did). The time is set by pressing the button near 11:00 and spinning the bezel.. this took me a few tries to get working but I was able to set the time.

There is a three pronged mounting bracket on the back of the clock.

The back of the clock (under the bracket) reads "Benrus Watch Co. Inc. Fifteen 15 Jewels Model DK14 Swiss 2643 Chromium Plated Patented Gazda Selfwinding".

CONDITION: Acceptable, used condition. I manually wound up the clock on a Friday afternoon and when I came back to it on Monday morning it was still running. The time read about 20 minutes in the future though, so I think the speed on it needs to be properly adjusted. I don't know how much longer it would have run without being wound again. There are surface scratches, scuffs, small nicks to the chrome, and color loss spots. The crystal on the clock is plastic and it has some deep surface scratches among the lighter ones. There's color loss to the hour hand. The body of the clock has some little dents/dings and misshapen spots around the back edges. The back of the clock and the mounting bracket have surface rust. I was able to adjust the time, although it took me a few tries to get the button near 11:00 to engage. Will come as shown, so please see photos!

MEASUREMENTS: Clock is about 3" in diameter at the furthest points.
