This lovely cased set of vintage George V hallmarked sterling silver tea spoons

is in very  good condition. The set consists of six tea spoons plus a sugar shovel.

The sugar shovel is slightly bent at the end. The design on each handle end is

of the Prince of Wales Feathers. Each is hallmarked for Sheffield 1924 on

the back of the bowl (see pics), putting them in the reign of George V.

The hallmarks are nice and crisp. The maker's initials, "W.S.S. & Co.,"

indicate they were made my W.S. Savage & Co.

They are housed in a brown rexine covered case which has some wear

particularly to the corners (see pics). Inside, the spoons sit on wine-colored

velvet which is offset by ivory-colored silk inside the lid. The box hinges are

also of silk with one partially frayed. The case snaps tightly shut.
