We are offering Sapim stainless steel, plain gauge straight pull spokes (2mm diameter 14 gauge) sold individually.  Spokes come in silver and black and are available in different sizes. This listing is for black spokes. We also sell separately on Ebay sets of silver plain gauge straight pull spokes as well as j bend plain and butted spokes.

Each spoke comes with its own same coloured, 12mm long, brass nipple; be aware that not all spokes on Ebay are offered with the nipple. We also sell a range of coloured nipples and alloy nipples from our Ebay shop. 

Plain gauge spokes are cheaper and have less spring and strength than butted spokes but do not result in a heavily buckled wheel when they break; for this reason they are the spoke of choice for expedition riders, tourers and long distance riders. They are easy to replace and repair and although not as strong as butted the strength characteristics are still high.

On our professional Kowa spoke cutter we can cut any length of spoke, so if you do not see the length you want why not send us a message and we can cut them for you.
