Beautiful antique multicolor glass beaded purse a white dove and red roses on a black background. The roses are shaded with white and have extravagant flowing green leaves, and the white bird is shaded with pink.
Across the bottom is stunning woven fringe in all the colors of bag: black, white, pink, red, and green. It has a center ornamental design and this fringe is all perfect, really adds to the spectacular design of this bag.
The purse has a gorgeous silver metal repousse frame with pinch clasp, and silver metal chain handle. Metal is not worn like silverplate, and not sterling, I think nickel silver. Not marked, purse has no tags or labels.
Inside lined in worn black velvet.
Frame is 7" wide at the top with pinch clasp, and it narrows to 6" wide from hinge to hinge. From top of frame to bottom of fringe is 11".
Purse is late Victorian, very early 20th century era.
All very good antique condition.
