This is a commemorative silver ingot, that pays tribute to the 1851 - $50 Gold Humbert Ingot! The original octagon shaped gold ingot weighed almost 2.5 ounces of gold! This ingot that you will receive is minted from 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver. This is a beautiful medal and very hard to find. I hesitate to sell it! But I have two, and figured I would share the breathtaking experience with someone who can appreciate the history behind this commemorative piece! One of my favorites from my collection! I hope you take of it and enjoy it as much as I do!!
