An original watercolor circa 1990 by the prominent late Alaskan artist Rie Muñoz (1921-2015). The whimsical image depicting the dwelling at 519 Front St. colorfully captures life in the small city of Kotzebue, AK, home to  3,000 people, smoke emanating from the modest dwelling as Ms. Hunnicutt sits on her porch dressed in a colorful Kuspuk as she observes the sunny summer day around her, gulls flying overhead and the ocean visible in the background. Framed, measures approximately 18" x 22" overall. Signed at lower right, original titled gallery label en verso.
