Rital Front one of the best Russian Neofolk bands, spanning 2003-2008. The Band was formed in late 2002 in St. Petersburg, when the founders of the project, Michael A. and Roric, decided to bring their interest in history, metaphysics, religion and ancient beliefs into music. They were the first artist in Russia to produce music in the martial / neofolk style. In time, the style of the musical duo in which lyrics played the dominant part acquired it’s name as "Combat Folk".
