Amongst its other potential benefits, turmeric is perhaps best known for its reputed anti-inflammatory qualities - particularly when it is combined with black pepper.

This anti-inflammatory effect is my main motivation for using this, which I take in addition to a Glucosamine & Chondroitin supplement.

There is quite a bit to like about these particular capsules from WBP:

These are also very good value. Suggested daily intake is either one or two tablets, but I do not see the need to take more than one. Ideally you should be looking at an intake of 1,000mg+ of turmeric as a daily dose. Many supplements fall below this (often around 700mg), but this one is comfortably in excess of that amount at an equivalent of 1,200mg per tablet. At £6.99 for a 120 day supply (120 tablets) these work out at a mere 5p per day. I have tried and reviewed quite a few turmeric supplements over the years and it is not unusual for the typical daily cost to work out at 10p-15p.

On that basis, I would have to say that this is one of the best options I have come across so far.

This turmeric supplement is brilliant. It contains 95% turmeric powder with added ginger, boswellia serrata and black pepper for easy absorption to the body. Turmeric is basically an anti-inflammatory but also helps to boost the immune system. I take it every day. This is a reasonably high dose, 3500 mg, so really you only need one a day, but the suggested dose is 1 to 2 tablets a day. Anyway, at one a day, this convenient pouch will last up to 4 months which is excellent value at £6. They are small tablets so very easy to swallow. Very happy with these.

I appreciate the fact it is suitable for vegans. You are getting 120 here and if you stick to the lower recommended serving size of one then they will last you around 4 months. Pretty good value for money at around a fiver! You get a decent expiry date so more than enough time to use this supplement up. Certainly one to consider for your joint health.

This Turmeric Complex contains a high dosage of turmeric, with 95% curcumin (which is important), plus other supportive ingredients to add additional health benefits and aid absorption. Recommended intake is one to two tablets per day, but unless there’s a specific need to take two, just taking one will make the tablets last for four months instead of two (as there’s 120 in the packet). Even with one tablet, it’s still a very good daily supply of the spice.

I like the fact that tablets can be taken purely with a glass of water as often there’s a recommendation with supplements to take them with a meal, which is okay providing it’s remembered. All too often it’s forgotten, so I appreciate that these can be taken beforehand or later (or indeed anytime during the day). Tablets are very small so can be easily swallowed, which is a good thing.

The product is manufactured in the UK to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards (so a vote of confidence there), and has biodegradable packaging so can be composted when finished with. It’s also vegan friendly and free from allergens. Please be aware though that the main ingredients come from out-with the UK.

Tumeric is known for it’s health promoting properties so this is an excellent way to add it to the diet. I've been taking turmeric in one form or another for years and believe it's definitely a worthwhile preventive, and one I'm always happy to add to either my supplement regime or in powder form to blended drinks. For this amount, dosage and price it's a superb buy, and a great way to take it, especially with the added elements and high curcumin content, and packaging that nourishes the earth as well.

I’m trying Turmeric out for the first time, so I can’t comment on it’s anti-inflammatory qualities yet. However, I can recommend these on the small size of the tablets, how I find them easy to swallow (with a glass of water) and how they leave no nasty aftertaste in my mouth. I also like the way the packaging has a plastic strip you can re-seal it, which will ensure freshness and keep any moisture out. There’s 120 tablets in the packet and they recommend you take 1 - 2 tablets per/day, so you’re good for between 2 - 4 months. I find the Visual Appearance of this product looks Quality and so far I’m Very Happy with them. Thank you.

They are small tablets that are easy to swallow and an easy way to take turmeric on a daily basis. Preferable to Turmeric lattes etc. and so much less mess than powder which can stain surfaces, fabrics and crockery.

As for the effect, it's hard to tell in the short term. If you find turmeric useful for your condition then these tablets are a quick, easy and efficient way to take it.
