Simeon S. Willis (1879-1965) was the 46th Governor of Kentucky and served from 1943 to 1947 when Earle C. Clements was elected Governor. Willis was the only Republican elected Governor of Kentucky in 40 years spanning 1927-1967. 


This special edition by WWII Magazine, The Army and Navy Journal, has an amazing collection of WWII period advertising, along with historical accounts of the third year of WWII and quotes from many high ranking public and military officials.
