 DESCRIPTION:
Offered for your review and consideration is this absolutely, 100% untouched American Arts and Crafts early 20th century antique large, hand tooled, three handled brass 'loving' or 'pass' tankard/cup, featuring upright handle thumb knobs and thick, sturdy bent brass flat stock curved handles and old, hammered brass fasteners holding the handles to the brass sidewalls. It hasn't been wiped down with oil or a metal polishing agent compound. The brass surfaces still enjoy their old, variegated brass finish and old, antique metal patina. The tankard's fairly large, even monumental, measuring a full 5 1/2" in height and is a substantial early 20th century relic. These 'loving' or 'pass' cups or tankards were made for special occasions, such as the departure of a friend or family member, where those gathered would share the contents (wine or beer) of the cup together, saluting and paying tribute to the individual they were bidding farewell to and ultimately saying goodbye to. Real. Authentic. Original. Very nice.

CONDITION:
Good to Very Good overall antique condition.
