Tips and Trouble Shooting

If the lights should “lock” up, you may need to reset your Twinkler by unplugging, waiting for 30 seconds, and plugging in again.
Some of the patterns develop slowly – customers may need to wait for the entire function to cycle or change the flashing pattern for the entire Twinkler to illuminate.
If the remote is not working, first check to ensure the battery insulator has been removed. If it has been and is still not functioning, open the batter compartment and check to see the battery has been installed correctly. If these two steps do not fix the problem, try replacing the battery with a new battery.
If the remote is not working, remind the customer the remote is infra-red and must be pointed directly at the Twinkler to function properly.
Although the texture feels like paper, Twinklers are made of PVC, not paper, and are fully water and weather resistant.
Customers who think the Twinkler isn’t functioning properly might not be using the remote. Ask them to patiently test other colors, color combinations or flashing patterns. The Twinkler may be functioning as designed, but the customer may not have moved beyond a color/flashing pattern they don’t find aesthetically appealing.
If the Twinkler isn’t working/shorting, ask the customer to try plugging into an indoor outlet they know works; the issue could be the outdoor outlet and/or an extension cord.
Check to make sure the end of the cord is tightly attached to the charging block.
