Condition: In good condition. Thin small craquelure throughout the surface duo to age. Minor damage to the frame.
Does not carry
authentication documentation. Selling as is. We are not art experts but we believe this painting to be by William Wendt.
Provenance: From the collection of art collector Clifford Brynildson, father of Erik Brynildson. Clifford died in June, 2008. Since then his son Erik has made a nonprofit national historic Museum dedicated to his father at the original home of the famous Scottish-American naturalist, author, environmental philosopher and early advocate of preservation of wilderness, John Muir in Fountain Lake Farm near Portage, Wisconsin where this work has been exhibited.
