All components and plugs are a perfect fit, the sound is specially optimized for the vehicle acoustics.

 

 

 

The center of the 2-way coaxial system ATS-B102XS is the 10 cm midrange driver, equipped with the new, specially manufactured CRYSTAX membrane. It consists of a very harmonious sounding, highly damping paper cone with a coating of extremely hard quartz crystals. With their enormously high step response, these crystals ensure the desired precision of the sound image. The powerful neodymium magnet provides the necessary power and supports the defined, clear sound.

 

 

 

The entire oscillating unit - membrane with rubber surround, Nomex spider and 1" inch voice coil - is securely held in the newly constructed composite basket in the distinctive AXTON design. The basket offers excellent stability despite the filigree struts, which at the same time offer the rear sound enough room to develop and reduce reflections.

 

 

 

Equipped with a precise-sounding 19 mm aluminum membrane, clamped in a slightly damping fabric surround, the tweeter of the ATS-B102XS delivers exact music details with an extremely pleasant sound. The special dome geometry ensures that the tweeter offers the best performance in the respective installation positions of the different vehicles. In this way, you can experience a constant treble level and a fantastic spatial depth in every seating position.

 

 

 

In addition to the coaxial system, there are two perfectly fitting, vehicle-specific 8" / 20 cm underseat subwoofers from AXTON - ATS-BSUB2 (2 ohms) and ATS-BSUB4 (4 ohms) - for a defined, impressively strong bass.

The SPECIFIC series for BMW vehicles consists of a total of eight models. Three compos and coax systems each for the different vehicle models as well as two variants of underseat basses with 2 ohms or 4 ohms voice coil.

 

 

 

THE TWEETER

 

Equipped with an analytically precise 19 mm aluminum membrane, clamped in a slightly dampening fabric surround, this tweeter delivers exact music details with an extremely pleasant sound. The geometry of the dome is chosen in such a way that it offers the best performance in the given installation position of the vehicle. This means you get a consistent treble level and fantastic spatial depth over a wide area in the vehicle. The dome is framed by a stable contact protection in the unique AXTON design.

The entire oscillating unit, i.e. the membrane with rubber surround, the Nomex spider and the 1 inch voice coil, are securely held in the newly constructed composite basket in the distinctive Axton design. This new basket offers excellent stability despite the filigree struts, which in turn give the rear sound enough space to develop and reduce reflections. The powerful and at the same time compact neodymium magnet provides the necessary power and the defined sound with impressive clarity
